Tuesday is Swimming Day

Tuesdays are now big days around the Holma/Ritualo house. Both of the boys are in swim classes on this day. Leo goes in the morning and Aidan goes in the evening. In Leo's class, both Leo and Dad are in the pool together. Leo's not learning any strokes or swimming techniques but is getting comfortable being in the water. There's a lot of floating around and kicking. This morning Leo wasn't too excited about going but once he got in the water he had a lot of fun. Aidan's class is more of an actual lesson. He's in the water with four other kids, a teacher and an assistant teacher. They work on holding their breath, floating, and kicking while their heads are in the water. Like his younger brother, Aidan wasn't too excited about going today but once he got in the water he had a blast. He can't wait until next week.

Leo's contribution to the blog-I asked Leo what he like most about swimming he said "cars", "polar express", "lightning mcqueen cars." I'm pretty sure he didn't play any of those things in the pool today but that is what is on his mind.
